Welcome to Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions CIC

Welcome to Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions CIC. We are proudly led by a group of disabled directors who enable us to provide a service for the people of Thurrock.

Established in 2007, the company has at its core our values of Inclusion, Aspiration, Choice and Togetherness. We aim to enable disabled people to live the lifestyle of their choice; through the provision of support designed by our experts by experience.

Everything we do is co-produced in what we describe as equal value partnerships, this means we bring disabled people together with their communities and through great experiences build individual choice and control.

We are a Company that really understands the meaning of ‘social value’ – nightclubs, gardening projects, woods, art groups, local businesses, music – you name it and we’ve tried to support it’s development in Thurrock.

We sponsor and run our very own radio station Thurrock Community Business Radio with a massive 1000 regular listeners now. We are also part of the community group trying to save the Thameside Complex Building. Our vision is to turn it into an asset owned by the Community.

Who we are

As a social enterprise we recognise that trading for profit is not a bad thing, but our assets are locked to the community. So for us, it's all about what you do with those assets and the profit. This means that we hold our social mission central to what we do - but 100% of our income comes from selling or trading in services.
